Jill Knight

I have been teaching at The Cordova Tutorial for 4 years. My children have attended classes for the past 9 years. I enjoy knitting, reading, singing, Bible Study, and spending time with my friends and family. I am originally from the St. Louis area but married a native Memphian and have spent the past 33 years living in various parts of the city.

I have a master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Memphis and a bachelor’s degree in education from Harding University. I have homeschooled my 2 children for 13 years (one is a graduate of TCT and the other graduates this year). Before beginning my homeschooling journey, I spent 14 years teaching in both private and public school settings. I love to learn and teach. I can’t pick a favorite subject because I enjoy them all, from working on complex math problems to traveling to a new place as I write a story, read great literature, or learn about history. I also enjoy working with kids of all ages, from babies to teens. When I am teaching children, I am doing one of my favorite activities.
