Robotics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Programming FULL
Do you like robots? Are you curious about what real robotics or electrical engineering looks like? Robotics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science is for students who are seeking a challenge, want to know real-world electrical theory and programming science, and want to develop their own completely unique ROBOTS!
We will be using C++ to program machines built straight from the ground up. We will learn what programming is, how it works, and how we can use it to make the best robot out there! We will also take electrical engineering and circuit design to a level impossible to find anywhere else for middle and high school students.
The best part about this course is that each student will be learning and developing machines for a purpose, completing and winning in-class challenges. The student will have to use technical and creative ingenuity to complete a series of competitions, the coolest one being a robot sumo battle! Similar to “Battle Bots,” but a lot less dangerous, students will be using their robots to wrestle and battle other robots to see which one is the best. The students will then build upon their design to make it the best it can be.
This 30-week class is for students in grades 6-12 who are interested in designing, building, and battling robots, while also using real-world industry skills. All of this learning will be wrapped in a fun-filled environment! No experience in robotics or programming is required.
