All aboard the Magic School Bus for a journey into the wonders of science! In this hands-on, exploratory 30 week class, students in kindergarten through third grade will dive into exciting scientific concepts inspired by the beloved Magic School Bus series. Each week, we will “travel” to fascinating destinations—outer space, the ocean depths, the human body, and beyond—bringing learning to life through experiments, creative activities, and group discussions.

From bubbling volcanoes to glowing constellations, students will ask questions, make discoveries, and develop a love for science. Together with Ms. Frizzle, we will learn that with curiosity and imagination anything is possible. Let’s take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!

Perfect for young scientists who love adventure and learning through play. This is a two-year rotating course with new materials and topics. New books and videos will be used as well as a few repeat favorites with different activities. Students are not expected to know how to read or write and they are not expected to sit still for the entire class period. Each class will begin with outdoor or indoor play with educational toys and puzzles. This gives students an opportunity to get the wiggles out and be ready to learn. Kids learn best by doing and having fun! This Magic School Bus class will encourage learning while engaging in educational activities that are enjoyable for curious young learners!
