World History

In this class, we will explore history from the beginning of civilization to the 20th century as we unfold God’s purpose and plan in human history. Students will engage in class discussions, analyze pivotal events, and observe how historical events fit into the physical world. Active participation in classroom discussions is crucial for this course. Therefore, students will be expected to arrive prepared to thoughtfully reflect on the weekly reading assignments.

Our studies will also include a research paper where students will delve deep into a historical topic of their choice. Students will learn how to structure a research paper, cite sources appropriately, and present their findings in a clear and effective manner.

Note: Please be advised that our classroom discussions will involve the exploration and analysis of challenging historical events. These discussions aim to foster a deeper understanding of history and its complexities. We will approach these topics with sensitivity and respect for differing perspectives.
