S.T.E.M

This upper elementary STEM class focuses on hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students will explore fundamental concepts through engaging activities, experiments, and projects fostering curiosity and critical thinking. The class aims to develop problem-solving skills and a strong foundation in STEM disciplines while nurturing a passion for inquiry-based learning. In the classroom, we emphasize an encouraging atmosphere that promotes collaboration, creative problem solving, and developing leadership skills.

Class challenges will include a variety of activities such as building a pasta bridge, unraveling an escape room mystery, and designing a protective structure for an egg drop experiment.

Homework: There may be 1 to 2 projects in the year that will need approximately 1-2 hours in a week to complete. This is not a graded class.
