Calculus

Calculus is the mathematical foundation of modern science. If you are interested in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics—just to name a few—, a solid understanding of Calculus is crucial. In this course, the student will become familiar with the basics of Calculus and learn about derivatives, integrals, and the applications of each.

This course will operate very similarly to the Precalculus class with practice problems being done on ixl.com. For the textbook, we will be using Calculus Demystified, which will hopefully be a familiar sight to anyone who used Pre-Calculus Demystified.

Loyd is new to The Cordova Tutorial and will be working on the course outline for this class. A class syllabus will be provided at the beginning of the school year.
