Lori Kellum lives in Memphis, TN with her husband, Nate, and five children, Frannie (20), Abbay (18), Wesley (15), Holland (13) and Anne Harper (10). She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi, with a B.A. in Sociology and from there worked at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital as a Child Life Specialist. She then taught school, before having children, and later home schooled several of her children at various grade levels. Recently, she completed the Comprehensive IMSE Orton-Gillingham Training which teaches educators how to implement the Orton-Gillingham method, a proven, multi-sensory and sequential approach to teaching reading. She is excited to bring these skills to the home school community and aid parents in the nurture and instruction of their children!
