Jill Knight

I am excited to be joining The Cordova Tutorial as an instructor this year after having my children attend classes for the past 4 years. I enjoy knitting, reading, singing, Bible Study and spending time with my friends and family. I am originally from the St. Louis area but married a native Memphian and have spent the past 28 year living in various parts of the city.

I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Harding University. I have homeschooled my 2 children for 10 years. Before beginning my homeschooling journey, I spent 14 years teaching in both private and public-school settings. I love to learn and teach. I can’t pick a favorite subject because I enjoy them all, from working complex math problems, to traveling to a new place as I write a story, read great literature or learn about history. I also enjoy working with kids of all ages, from babies to teens. When I am teaching children, I am doing one of my favorite activities.
