Jan Schulte has a B.S. in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy and a MPA from the University of West Florida. She spent 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a pilot and instructor pilot before becoming a mom 21 years ago. She has exclusively homeschooled her two daughters who have loved taking classes at TCT since its inception. Her oldest daughter is a junior in college, and her youngest is a senior in high school. She and her husband, Scot, have been married for 31 years.
As a homeschooling parent, she found herself confronted with several learning disabilities in her home and saw a need for availability of intervention in dyscalculia. Having a love of math, she pursued certification in dyscalculia remediation and became certified as a Dyscalculia Tutor through the Dyscalculia Training Center. She is excited to join TCT and partner with parents in helping their children find success in math!
