Debbie Kohlbacher

Debbie has a bachelor’s degree in French from Harding University and
lived in France for two years where she worked with a missionary. She has thirty years of teaching experience in the public schools where she has taught French I, II, III, and IV. Besides classroom work she has privately tutored individual and homeschool students. In her classes she likes to do a lot of interactive and conversational work so that students are not only learning written French but oral communication. In a tutoring setting this will leave more written and grammar work for home. She has also traveled to France and French-speaking Canada with her students.
Debbie is married to a marriage and family counselor and they have two amazing sons. At church they are active in teaching and other ministries there. They love to hang out with family and friends, they enjoy traveling, they have chickens and a dog, they compost and recycle.
