Annette Wright

Annette Wright is excited to be joining The Cordova Tutorial this year.  She is looking forward to using her teaching experience and love for children in the classroom setting.  She hopes to inspire her students to love learning and think creatively.

Annette earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Memphis where she graduated with Honors.  She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Union University.  Annette taught elementary grades in public and private schools for nine years before staying home with her two sons.  She has homeschooled them for six years, teaching both at home and in a local co-op.  Annette also has experience tutoring, giving leadership to church children’s ministry, and working with children and families in adoption and foster care.

She has been married to her husband, Arron, for 15 years.  She is proud mom to (step)daughter Courtney and sons, Jacob and Joseph.  She also earned the title of “Grandma” to grandson Charlie.  She and her family enjoy bike rides, traveling and exploring, and family game nights.
