Are you and your child frustrated in the process of your child becoming a reader?  Are you struggling to figure out what the missing piece might be to help your child remember each phonics concept or go from sounding out every word to becoming a fluent reader?  

In these 1-hour student sessions, Mrs. Emily will focus directly on your students' needs. Emily Wakabi, a licensed teacher, and certified Orton-Gillingham reading educator, will assess your child's reading ability and from that assessment create hands-on, multi-sensory, engaging reading lessons tailored to your child's specific needs in one-on-one tutoring sessions.  She will cover all the different components that help to create a successful reader including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency practice, vocabulary, comprehension, syllabication, and more.  You will be updated regularly on your child's progress and given tips for how you can continue to work with them at home.  Sessions are limited so call or email today so you can secure a spot! All supplies needed for these sessions will be provided by the tutor.
