Science in History

Science in History

Science in History is a 30 week, 1  1/2 hour class based on a new Science curriculum from Berean Builders Publishing, Inc., and Dr. Jay Wile.  Dr. Wile is responsible for many of the Science textbooks in the popular Apologia curriculum. The four book series introduces scientific concepts in the framework of history.  For this class we will use the first book in the series, Science in the Beginning.  Students will take scientific journey through the six days of creation, studying a wide variety of topics including: light, energy conservation, air & water, botany, the solar system, zoology, and some aspects of human anatomy and physiology.

Included in the class are all labs, supplies, instruction and testing of the material from this groundbreaking series.  Parents will only need to purchase the text for your student (see picture below).  Books may be bought on-line or at Gateway Curriculum Center.  Gateway is open Fridays and Saturdays, 12-4pm (closed holiday weekends).  Mention that you’re buying books for use at The Cordova Tutorial to receive a discount on your purchase.
